The Flag Raising Ceremony was held at the morning, followed by the Speech Under the
National Flag, entitled ˇ§New Year, New Plansˇ¨ to encourage students to reflect on their academic performance in the upcoming First Term examination, and to set clear, measurable learning goals that align with their personal aspirations and national development.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad Preliminary Round 2026 (Hong Kong Division)
Our students participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad Preliminary Round 2026 (Hong Kong Division) and won a total of 21 awards, including 10 gold awards, 7 silver awards and 4 bronze awards.

Youth Awardees Gathering 2025 organized by the Hong Kong Scout Association in the New Territories East Region
M. Chow Kin Shuen, together with our student, Cheung Wing Tung (F.2D), attended the Youth Awardees Gathering 2025 organized by the Hong Kong Scout Association in the New Territories East Region. Our Scouts have won the First Runner-up in Hong Kong Scout Marching Competition for two consecutive years and the championship in the New Territories Footdrill, Group Call, Happy Umbrella, Flag Raising Competition Chu Chun Ho Cup for ten consecutive years.

GPS Stress Relief Workshop for Form 6 Students
Our Counselling and Guidance Committee, in collaboration with the Sha Tin Comprehensive Social Service Centre of the Hong Kong Christian Young Women's Association, organized a 'GPS Stress Relief Workshop' for Form 6 Students. This workshop provided a variety of creative stress relief activities, including making cat-shaped ceramics, texture painting, fluid bear, mini landscape planting, perfume blending, and hand-brewed coffee experiences, allowing students to relax and learn about different stress relief methods.

Hong Kong Secondary School Chinese History Study Award Program
Students from our Chinese History department participated in the 'Hong Kong Secondary School Chinese History Study Award Program,' co-organized by the Alumni Association of the Master of Arts in Chinese History at the University of Hong Kong and the National History Education Centre (Hong Kong). Eight students from Form 4 and Form 5 received commendation awards. On this day, Ms. Ngai Pin Yuk led the award-winning students to attend the '2025 Hong Kong Young Historians Annual Awards and the Hong Kong Secondary School Chinese History Study Award Program' award ceremony.

Students from our school participated in the '2025-2026 Elite Cup On-site Essay Competition (Hong Kong Preliminary Round)' organized by the Chinese Youth Language and Culture Society, winning 2 special awards, 2 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 13 third prizes, totalling 24 awards.

Inter-School Volleyball Competition (Group A)
Our school's girls' volleyball team participated in the 'Inter-School Volleyball Competition (Group A)' organized by the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation for Sha Tin and Sai Kung districts. They advanced to the next round as the second in the group stage and won the bronze medal in the girls' A group.

15th Junior Financial Secretary Program
Our students Feng Andy (F.4B) and Leung Yan Tung from (F.4D) participated in the '15th Junior Financial Secretary Program,' organized by the Hong Kong Children's Council with assistance from the Education Bureau. On this day, the two students attended the 'Meeting with the Financial Secretary' event, discussing Hong Kong's economic and livelihood issues with Financial Secretary Paul Chan, expressing their opinions on public finance and explaining the ideas in the Financial Budget Proposal. After the meeting, the Financial Secretary took a photo with the two Junior Financial Secretaries and wrote encouraging messages in their notebooks.

Our student Zhang Yiu Ching (F.4D) participated in the 'London Pink Art Competition' organized by the Whole Mind English Academy Charity, winning first place in the painting category, bringing glory to our school. On this day, Acting Principal Ms. Leung Wing-yee was invited to attend the award-winning exhibition held at SOGO to support and congratulate the awarded students.

Mathematics, Science, and Technology Week
To cultivate students' interest in science and technology and promote interdisciplinary knowledge integration, our school held a 'Mathematics, Science, and Technology Week', with activities for each level including: a 'Fun Science Experiment Workshop' for Form 1, a 'Science Quiz Competition' for Form 2, an 'Optical Maze' challenge for Form 3 and a seminar on 'Nanotechnology' for Forms 4 and 5. Additionally, the Physics Department and the library co-hosted the thematic book exhibition 'Physics and Astronomy Journey - The Universe in Light and Shadow', allowing students to further understand knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum, astronomical development, and space safety, thereby deepening their scientific literacy through reading.
Happy Fruit and Vegetable Month - Happy Fruit and Vegetable Party
Our school received funding from the Department of Health to hold the 'Happy Fruit and Vegetable Month - Happy Fruit and Vegetable Party', distributing passion fruit and fruit-vegetable-shaped stationery to all staff and students. Class teachers explained the nutritional value and consumption methods of passion fruit to students, aiming to increase their interest in eating fruits and vegetables and promoting the message 'Eating fruits and vegetables daily is beneficial for health'.

Mr. Chan Hon-ling, Retired Principal, Generously Donates a Batch of Bald Cypress Seedlings to Our School
Retired Principal Mr. Chan Hon-ling generously donated a batch of bald cypress seedlings to support the school's greening efforts. On that morning, Acting Principal Ms. Leung Wing-yee, class teacher Ms. Tai Lai-yi, and the gardening expert guided Class 1C students in planting the seedlings in the flowerbeds. Through this planting activity, students not only learned basic gardening skills but also experienced the joy of greening the environment and passed down the spirit of caring for the campus.
Life Education Lessons
This day's Life Education lessons featured diverse activities. Form 1 to Form 3 students participated in their first themed study tutorials on topics such as 'Exploring the Aesthetic World of Chinese Culture', 'The Evolution of Consumer Values: Exploring Culture, Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Development', and 'Thematic Scientific Investigative Study' and Form 4 and Form 5 students attended a health living seminar on 'Pocari Sweat: Moving Stress' as well as a financial education workshop organized by the Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board.

Student Environmental Protection Ambassador Program - Basic Environmental Chapter Training Activity
15 students from our school participated in the 'Student Environmental Protection Ambassador Program - Basic Environmental Chapter' training activity organized by the Education Bureau. Under the guidance of Ms. Ho Man-yee from the Environmental Education team, they visited the Hong Kong UNESCO Geopark - Dong ping zhou to enhance their understanding and conservation awareness of geological resources.
Resilient Together Series - Parent-child Fun Poem Creation Competition
Our school's Parent-Teacher Association and Chinese Language Department encouraged students and parents to participate in the 'Resilient Together Series - Parent-child Fun Poem Creation Competition' organized by the Education Bureau. Our school received the 'Active Participation Award' and an excellent award in the secondary group. On this day, Acting Principal Ms. Leung Wing-yee and Ma Ou (F.3C) attended the final competition and award ceremony.

Our students Chan Hei Tung (F.4A), Guo Hang Yan (F.5B) and Chan Lok Pui (F.5C) participated in the 'Career Dreams - Social Welfare Nursing Work Experience Program' organized by the Social Welfare Department's Sha Tin District Youth Services Local Committee, excelling in their performance. On this night, Ms. Tai Lai-yi was invited to attend the commendation ceremony with these three students.

Life Education Lessons
Ms. Ho Man-yee and Mr. Wong Yiu-ching, took seven students, including Shi Yu Xuan (F.5A), Chan Hoi Wu, Lam Kai Pong, Li Tin Long (F.5B), Chiu Yat Ting, Yiu Ho Man, and Zhong Edward Ho Lam (F.5D) to attend the launching ceremony and workshop of the 'Hong Kong Secondary School Student Space Conservation Micro-film Creation Competition - Leap into Space, Love the Earth', hosted by the Hong Kong (International) Space Charity Foundation and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Institute of Space Science and Technology. On that day, a NASA scientist and Professor Su Wei from HKUST shared cutting-edge knowledge on space technology and climate monitoring and provided pre-competition guidance. Through participating in the creation workshop, students learned micro-film production techniques, transforming space concepts into visual stories.
Yucheng Garden Chinese New Year Carnival 2026
On the same day, three students from our Dance Team performed the dance 'Initial Encounter: Dingbu Bridge' during the 'Yucheng Garden Chinese New Year Carnival 2026' hosted by the Chiu Chow Cultural Heritage Association.
