Life Education Session

During the Life Education Session, the school organised a variety of learning activities for students of all forms, including: "Gathering with Peer Counselling Ambassadors" for Form 1, "Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association 'Positive Growth' Training Programme" for Form 2, "Life Planning Workshop" for Form 4, and a talk by the Hong Kong Professional and Senior Executives Association for Form 5, where eight experts from the fields of financial services, education, engineering, accounting and auditing, innovation and technology, culture and arts, medical services, and nursing services came to the school to share industry development and trends with students, and to help students make career plans.

"Kiangsu-Chekiang Schools Basketball Competition 2024"
Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Kwai Chung) Alumni Association of Kiangsu Chekiang and Shanghai Residents (HK) Association held the " Kiangsu-Chekiang Schools Basketball Competition 2024", Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Kwai Chung) Alumni Association and our school's alumni association were invited to participate. Eight alumni of our school formed two teams to participate in the competition, among which alumni Yang Zheng Nan, Yau Zi Feng, Hung Ka Yiu and Ma Wen Xi won the second runner-up, and Ma Wen Xi also won the "Best 3 Points Shooter" Award.
"Dears & Tears Youth Music Festival"
Assistant Principal Ms. Ely Lee and the school social worker Ms. Wong Mei Yin led 10 students from our school to attend the "Dears & Tears Youth Music Festival" organised by the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA), where young artists were invited to perform. The festival allowed students to express their stress and emotions by appreciating the top 10 "Emotion-saving Songs" voted by 1,800 secondary school students.

"Economics-learning Comic Design Contest 2024"
Our students Li Kwan Lam from Class 4C and So Tsz Yiu from Class 5C participated in the "Economics-learning Comic Design Competition 2024" organized by the Hong Kong Association of Economics Education, and won the First Prize and the Distinction Award respectively.
6-10 May
"Chinese Week"
The Chinese Language Panel, Chinese History Panel and the Citizenship and Social Development Panel of our school jointly organised "Chinese Week", contents included: "Chinese and National Conditions Inter-Class Q&A Competition" for Form 1 and 3, "Cross-Curriculum Reading Activities" and "Chinese Week Lunchtime Mini-Concert: Singing Past and Present" for Form 1 to 5, with a view to deepening students' understanding of Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, Chinese culture and national conditions, and enhance the sense of national identity.

Luncheon Meeting
Principal Chan Ngai Lai and Vice-Principal Ho Lai Ping held a luncheon meeting with two student representatives from each class from Form1 to 4 to strengthen communication between the school and students.

"Greater Bay Area Outstanding Student Election 2024" Outstanding Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Awards
The Hong Kong School Managers Society informed the school that our students Tam Pok Him from Class 3D and He Siu San from Class 5D have been awarded the Outstanding Award for Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Groups in the "Greater Bay Area Outstanding Student Election 2024" respectively, in recognition of students' exceptional performance in academic achievements, talent development and social service.

"Shatin District School STEAM Competition 2024"
Our school joined hands with three Education Bureau Community Youth Club Committees and organised the "Shatin District School STEAM Competition 2024". The competition was held in our school during the holiday, with senior primary and junior secondary school groups, the competition between teams consist of four rounds, and nearly 100 students from 14 primary and secondary schools in the district participated. Education Officer Lee Siu Man, Principal Wang Yu Tai of S.K.H. Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School, Principal Cheng Sze Sze of SKH Holy Spirit Primary School, Principal Wong Fai Mei of Baptist Lui Ming Choi Primary School, and Principal Chan Ngai Lai of our school were invited to deliver speeches and present awards respectively.
"China Daily '21st Century Cup' National English Speaking Competition (Hong Kong)"
Our students Fung Nok Tung from Class 1A, Chen Ki Ho and Wong Ka Chun from Class 3A and Yu Shuqi from Class 5D won the Second Prize of the "China Daily '21st Century Cup' National English Speaking Competition (Hong Kong)", student Fung Nok Tung participated in the award ceremony as representative.
