Talk from alumnus Yip Ka Yee, representative of the Para Rowing Hong Kong Team

The school Careers Guidance Committee invited alumnus Yip Ka Yee, representative of the Para Rowing Hong Kong Team, to deliver a talk to Form 6 students to share her experience of legs amputation due to illness and subsequently becoming an athlete participating in various regional and international competitions. She encourages students to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude in adversity and students have benefited a lot from her speech.

Seminar on "Living with Children"

The school Parent-Teacher Association invited Ms. Rosa Lee, clinical psychologist of the Department of Health, to deliver a seminar on "Living with Children" to help parents understand the causes and effects of conflicts with teenagers and ways to deal with them.

"Warm Stitches, Grateful Hearts" Parent-child Crochet Activity
Our school participated in the "Warm Stitches, Grateful Hearts" Parent-child Crochet Activity organized by the Education Bureau. Assistant Principal Ms. Leung Wing Yee joined the participating parents and students and visited the elderly at the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Chan Han Home for the Elderly in Ma On Shan, New Territories. In addition to performing recitations and singing songs for the elderly, scarves made earlier by parents and students were given to elderly to add warmth in the cold winter. This activity greatly promotes the spirit of the school's student code "Dedicated to Serve" and promotes the culture of integration between the young and the elderly.

Eye Level Math Olympiad 2023
Our school students participated in the Eye Level Math Olympiad 2023 and won 1 Bronze Award, 2 Excellence Awards, 2 Merit Awards and 13 Participation Awards, a total of 18 awards.

Inter-Secondary School Volleyball Competition
Our school students Guo Hang Yan from Class 3A, Chzn Pui Chi, Kong Pui Yee, Lai Pui Sze, Yeung Hoi Ting from Class 4B, Zhuang Lai Yin from Class 4D, Charmaine Wong from Class 5A, and Siu Ting Kwan and Wei Lan from Class 5B participated in the Inter-Secondary School Volleyball Competition organised by the Schools Sports Federation of Hong Kong (Shatin and Sai Kung District) and won the fourth place in the girls A grade division 2.
"HuaXia Cup" National Mathematics Olympic Invitation Competition 2024 (Preliminary Round)
Our school students participated in the "HuaXia Cup" National Mathematics Olympic Invitation Competition 2024 (Preliminary Round) and won 4 First Prizes, 6 Second Prizes and 8 Third Prizes, a total of 18 awards.

Life Education Session
During the Life Education Session, various learning activities were held by different school societies, including "Narcissus, Welcoming the Chinese New Year", "Photography Skills Practice", "Light Mapping" Visual Arts Workshop etc., to provide students with different learning experiences and broaden their horizons.
Inter-Secondary School Athletics Competition
Our school student Ng Hei Yu from Class 4B participated in the Inter-Secondary School Athletics Competition organized by the Schools Sports Federation of Hong Kong (Shatin and Sai Kung District) and won the fourth place in the girls B grade 100m hurdles.

The 38th Tuen Mun District Dance Competition
Our school Dance Society participated in "The 38th Tuen Mun District Dance Competition" and won 3 Gold Awards and 1 Sliver Award in the Eastern Dance Open Group with dances "The Charm of the Mountain", "Water Language, Hidden Heart", "Butterfly · Zhiqiu" and "Two Drops of Water".

Chun Ho Miu (4A) participated in the Inter-school Athletics Competition organised by The School Federation of Hong Kong, China - Sha Tin and Sai Kung Secondary Schools Area Committee, and won the championship in Boys B Grade Shot Put.

Our students participated in the Tianma Cup 2023-2024 Hong Kong Brush Calligraphy Competition (Senior Secondary School Group) organized by the Hong Kong Art Education Association and won 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards, 1 bronze award and 1 participation award, comprising a total of 8 awards.

The Joyful Fruit Month
Our school joined the event Joyful Fruit Month organized by the Department of Health. Fruits were distributed to all teachers and students. The activity is to boost students' interest in eating fruit to promote the message that daily fruit intake is essential for good health. Our junior form students participated in GoSmart Videos Promotion Initiative organized by The Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and were attained Active Participating School Award.

Flag Raising Ceremony and Speech under the National Flag
The Flag Raising Ceremony was conducted in the playground and the Speech Under the National Flag was delivered by Mr. Wong Yiu Ching from the Environmental Education Committee and Gong Qianya (5D), the Student Environmental Protection Ambassador. They shared ways to practise green living while celebrating the Lunar New Year and encouraged teachers and students to actively protect the global environment.
Hong Kong Secondary School Student Literature and Art Monthly
Zhou Man Kei (4A) submitted her book report The Miracles of the Namiya General Store to the
Hong Kong Secondary School Student Literature and Art Monthly funded by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Her writing was published in the 152nd issue of the magazine.

Principal Ms Chan Nga Lai held a lunch meeting with nine Form 6 student representatives to strengthen communication and exchange between the school and students, and to encourage Form 6 students to prepare for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.
