"The 59th School Dance Festival"

The Dance Club participated in the 59th School Dance Festival and won two honour awards in the Chinese dance (group dance) of the secondary school category with "Trace. Leap" and "Hundreds of Flowers Blooming".

Flag Raising Ceremony
A Flag Raising Ceremony was conducted on the playground. The scouts served as flag raisers. The national flag was raised with the majestic national anthem. All teachers and students in the school stood at attention facing the national flag. The ceremony was simple but solemn. Then, Ms. Chen Yubei from the Moral Education Committee delivered a speech under the national flag, sharing the core values of this school year "responsibility and commitment" and "diligence and perseverance", encouraging students to be brave and responsible, and to seize the time in the new year and devise plans accordingly.

Financial Education Workshop
The Parent-Teacher Association organized Financial Education Workshop for parents in the evening. Ms. Lee Ching Wai, a clinical psychologist from the Department of Health, was invited as the guest speaker to let parents understand the problems and impacts of young people's improper use of money, and master effective methods to teach children healthy financial management.

"The 31st Students Top Ten News Elections" and ""Know the Greater Bay Area" News Challenge"
Our school participated in the "31st Hong Kong Secondary School Students Top 10 News Contest" and ""Understanding the Greater Bay Area" News Challenge" organized by Hok Yau Club, and was awarded the "Most Active Participation Award" for nine consecutive years. In addition, Hui Wing In from class 5D ranked among the top ten highest scores of all Hong Kong participants in the News Challenge and was awarded the first prize. Ms. Lee Ely, Chen Pui Chi from Class 5B and Hui Wing In from class 5D attended the prize presentation ceremony.

 
"Asia Students Arts Festival Arts Competition 2023"
Students from Class 4A of our school, Lau Ching Yi, Zhou Ka Man and Chan Yan Ying participated in the "Asia Students Arts Festival Arts Competition 2023" and won the First Runner-up in the folk dance category of 14 to 15 years old with "First Encounter. Anchoring Bridge".

"The 17th Hong Kong Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Individual Competition"
Our Martial Arts Club participated in the "17th Hong Kong Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Individual Competition" hosted by the Martial Arts Alumni Association of the University of Hong Kong, and won 1 championship, 4 second runners-up, 4 third runners-up, 4 third runners-up, 3 excellence awards and 12 merit awards, a total of 28 awards.

"Sir Edward Youde Memorial Prizes for Senior Secondary School Students"
Chan Wing Sum and Zhu Wing Lam of Class 6D were awarded the "Sir Edward Youde Memorial Prizes for Senior Secondary School Students " and were invited to attend the prize presentation ceremony to encourage students to actively learn and develop leadership skills.
"The 12th Young Financial Planners"
4B Chau Ching, 4C Kwan Wan Sin and 4D Lee Sze Yi were selected as the "12th Young Financial Planners". Today, they hosted a financial knowledge activity for Form 1 students in the Life Education periods. The activity was carried out in the form of a simulated life game, allowing students to understand the types of investment products and expenditures in different stages of life, thereby helping them master financial knowledge and establish correct financial management concepts.

"Youth Aerospace TechEd Programme"
4A Chan Wai Lun, 4D Tang Ka Yi and 5D Ng Po Wa were admitted to the "Youth Aerospace TechEd Programme" jointly organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers (HKFEW). They will participate in a number of aerospace technology education courses and learn the latest aerospace technology and space science knowledge and concepts.
"Hong Kong Inter-School AI Formula Artificial Intelligence Robotic Car Competition 2022" Workshop
7 F.3 and F.5 students from our school participated in the "Hong Kong Inter-School AI Formula Artificial Intelligence Robotic Car Competition 2022" workshop organized by "Formula AI" to consolidate students' subject knowledge and enhance their learning interest.

"Mathematics, Science and Technology Week"
Our Mathematics, Science and Technology Key Learning Areas members co-organized "Mathematics, Science and Technology Week". Activities included F.1 online quiz competition, F.2 and F.3 inter-class quiz competitions and "Wondrous China - Technology and Life" exhibition and quiz game to understand the achievements and applications of scientific research development in China and Hong Kong.

"Hong Kong Biology Literacy Award 2022/2023"
Our students participated in the "Hong Kong Biology Literacy Award 2022/2023" organized by the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education. 5D Lam Pui Yin won the Third Prize, and 5A Keon Wong, 5D Hui Tin Yu and 5D Ren Wing Shing won Merit Awards.

Our Dance Club participated in the "50th Schools Dance Festival" and performed outstandingly. In the dance trio group, we won one First Award and two Merit Awards in the Secondary School Category. We also won the team championship in the "School Dance Festival Chinese Dance (Secondary School Group)" for two consecutive years.

Hong Kong Inter-school AI Formula Artificial Intelligence mechanical car Competition 2022 organized by Formula AI
Eight Form 2 and Form 5 students participated in the competition so as to consolidate their knowledge of STREAM and to enhance their learning interest.
Boardgame Learning Activity Day organized by Community Youth Club (Shatin)
Eight Form 2 and Form 3 students joined the activity. Students enjoyed playing the game and have also improved their thinking skills.
